The founder and Managing Partner of SS Gan & Co (Chartered Accountants) and also the SSGC Group, who is the licensed tax agent honored by the Ministry of Finance. SS is a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants, qualified and holding a fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Chartered Member of Institute of Internal Auditors. SS is having vast experience in assurance, tax, corporate advisory and related areas in both the public practice and commercial companies. He is also an approved trainer by Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC) and also the trainer for the MIA and the Royal Malaysian Customs (Jabatan Kastam DiRaja Malasya), in Sabah. SS has recently chaired the Forum of e-Invoice for SMEs, organized by MIA, as a Panelist, and he has been engaged as the trainer for Institute Singapore of Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
He started off his career in audit and switch into taxation for the past 20 years. Currently he is assisting his clients in handling tax planning and advisory cases, especially with regards to the transfer pricing, tax audit and legal cases for both in Tribunal as well as Bahagian Guaman of Inland Revenue Board.
Mr. Gan was also the ACCA lecturer for Taxation and Advance Taxation for YES International College and Nanjing University of Finance And Economy, and currently he has been actively involved in providing seminars for Malaysian tax.
Ms. Nurul Huda
Audit Partner
An approved auditor from the Accountant General and the Ministry of Finance
- Nurulhuda is a Partner to Nurulhuda & Co, an approved auditor from the Accountant General and the Ministry of Finance.
- She holds a Bachelor Degree of Accounting from University Putra Malaysia and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 2013.
- Huda possesses 15 years in external audit, having auditing experience in various industries, including trading and retail, manufacturing, construction and property development, F&B as well as Technology & Digital sectors. She has also possessed the experience in auditing private listed company along her path of career as the auditor.
- Huda has dedicated experience in audit. With this respect, she is able to conduct a risk-based audit and that to advise her clients pertaining to the risk associated with the industries and therefore contribute to the growth of the clients.
Ms. Eve
Country Director
Orranee (Eve) Kanlayawattanajarean or to be known as Eve is the Country Director of SSGC Group. Eve has graduated from University of Bangkok, with a Second Upper Degree in Accounting.
Before she joins SSGC, she worked in a Private Listed Company (PLC) in Bangkok as Accounts Executive, where her role included handling the treasury function, including but not limited to prepare cash flow and monthly as well as year end budget and forecast for the his employer. She had assisted her employer to analyse the financial statements as well as the group financial statements to ensure the financial statements were drafted in true and fair manner. Eve also assisted her employer to find out the discrepancy of the budgeted against the actual cash flow prepared and control the cost incurred by her employer so as to save the cost and increase the profitability as well as solvency of the employer.
After her persistence with the PLC and earned the experience she desired, Eve has joined SSGC as Accounts Manager handling the accounting matters of the foreign clients. Due to her hard work in handling the foreign clients’ expectation and capability to exercise her practical knowledge in the work she possessed, Eve has subsequently been promoted as Country Director.
Currently Eve is serving the clients from various countries, including but not limited to Singapore, Thailand and so on. The areas Eve specialises include Accounting, Local Tax/GST/VAT of the foreign countries, as well as business development and assisting Malaysian client to set up companies in the desired country or the foreign clients to come into Malaysia to set up the companies.

Badwi Raashary is a former Customs Superintendent from the Royal Malaysia Customs Department (RMCD) with a multifaceted background in customs regulation, bolstered by a range of specialized courses and extensive experience in the field. Having attended prestigious programs such as the Aviation Border Security Course at the Jakarta Center for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC) and the GST Audit Course facilitated by Her Majesty Revenue and Customs, UK (HMRC), Barry possesses a comprehensive understanding of border security and audit procedures.
His distinguished career in customs spans various roles, including serving as a GST Auditor at RMCD Kota Kinabalu, where he honed his expertise in tax compliance and auditing. Badwi’s leadership capabilities were further demonstrated during his tenure as the Head of Corporate Planning Unit at RMCD Sabah, where he played a pivotal role in strategic planning and policy development.
With extensive operational experience, Badwi has held key positions such as Head of Operation in the Passenger Examination Department and Assessing Officer at RMCD KLIA, where he oversaw critical functions and ensured compliance with customs regulations. Additionally, his role as the Head of the Import Surveillance Unit underscores his commitment to enhancing border security and preventing illicit trade activities.
Now, as the Managing Partner of Baryk Partners, a Compliance as a Service (CaaS) company, Badwi leverages his diverse skill set and profound understanding of customs regulation to drive innovation and excellence in the business. - Being the Senior Tax Advisor of the Firm, Tuan Haji Ab Rahim Bin Abdullah (aka. Tn. Haji), is a licensed tax agent under s. 153 of the Income Tax Act, 1967.
- Tuan Haji had been serving the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) since 1974 and retired in the year 2013, when he was holding a position of senior director with the IRB.
- While he was serving the IRB, he in-charged of the state tax affair, including but not limited to audit and investigation work, which is also his specialty and forte in his career until today.
- Tn. Haji had also been appointed as the head of division cum senior director for National Tax Academy, specializing in training the new appointed officer in relation to the compliance and audit work.
- After serving the National Tax Academy for years, Tn. Haji was transferred to handling the corporate affairs of the IRB and lastly the Director General of Kuching branch, before his retirement from IRB.
- Tn. Haji has proven track record with IRB and acquired vast and technical knowledge in his career with IRB.
- Currently Tn. Haji is actively involving in tax audit cases for the clients.
Mr. Jason Saw

- As an entrepreneur as well as corporate advisor, collectively Jason has over 23 years of corporate experience in a spectrum of industries. He was involved in various governmental advisory works, providing management consulting services to SMEs as well as advising local and foreign entrepreneurs on the contractual matters related to their investments, and etc.
- Among his track records, Jason had in his milestones successfully done cross border corporate deals for conglomerates; multi-millions in sales & business development; start up ventures; advising a group of companies on its legal matters; and on a more recent note, Jason is involved in helping corporate clients to handle untoward fraud cases
- Currently Jason is the head of Legal, Compliance and Corporate Advisory Department of SS Gan & Co (Chartered Accountants), advising proper contracts and engagement letters in different scenarios, as well as providing corporate advises to the clients.
